During the 1950s, variety and specialty music began to develop in the USA and around the world and became even more popular after Michael Jackson’s number one album Thriller.
Variety and specialty music originated in a number of locations in North America and around the world. DJs would play two copies of the same 7-inch single to extend the playing time, using records with a strong and heavy groove. DJs soon started to prepare their own extended versions with added instruments and longer introductions. This style of music was eventually recognized in its own right in the early 1950s and the classic variety and specialty music era spanned the next decade.
Dance music today, which has its origins in Ancient Egypt, has many different forms, including drum and bass, hip-hop, garage, R and B, hip-hop, house, top 40, latin, country, rave, techno, ambient and Europe. Head to Miami or Ibiza during the summer time and you will hear all these music genres being played by international superstar DJs at the world’s leading nightclubs and social events.

Ann Wilson is a 21th century mobile DJ service manager, consultant and artist known for her innovations with the turntables, CD Players, Art and Management Serves working with D. J. Love Productions LLC as a customer service representative.
Background
Ann Wilson has over 20 years of experience working in the mobile DJ entertainment industry. Ann Wilson’s interest in music and entertaining began at the age of 23 with DJ Love Pro during the winter of 1992 and 1993, Ann also worked as a member of the Society of Music Lovers, a newly created group in the community outside of Fort Eustis Virginia. There she ran contests and games and taught participation dances to vacationers and members of the community. By 1996, she started a home-based music and entertainment business in the community out the Fort Eustis, Virginia area. At this time she began DJing in the local community as well as military communities worldwide.
